Philosophy of the Practice of Law

There are various aspects of how Larry Israel practices law that significantly affect the benefits received by Clients.

1.  Value is what Counts, not “Cost”

Larry Israel believes that legal services deserve to be measured by the value to you, the Client, not how many hours it takes the attorney to do the work.

If one attorney is less efficient or less learned than another, and therefore takes more time to do the same amount of work with exactly the same quality, that does not make the result more valuable to the client.  “Efficiency” and “quality” are important values in the practice of law, right alongside “effectiveness”, if clients are to be well-served.

Therefore, our firm will voluntarily reduce its billable hours in any situation where circumstances outside our control have prevented us from being as efficient in your interest as we believe is appropriate.
